Gardasoft new product releases at VISION 2012

At VISION 2012 Gardasoft Vision will be launching some of the industry’s highest intensity LED Lighting in three categories - 5M Lux LED Line Lights for Line Scan Surface and Web Inspection, LED Bar Lights for Area Scan applications, and LED ANPR Strobe Lights for Intelligent Traffic systems.

VLX3 LED Line Lights

The Gardasoft VLX3 is industry’s highest continuous intensity LED Line Light, delivering up to 5M Lux  (depending on the optical configuration). These ultra-high intensity LED Line Lights offer a highly stable output and are specifically designed for OEM Line Scan applications. The VLX3 lights utilise liquid-cooling technology, which enables very long LED life at the highest intensities - Gardasoft have over five years’ experience in the field with this cooling technology with their leading VLX2 Series of Line Lights. Wavelengths for the VLX3 include White, IR, Green, Blue, and Red; the product is available in light lengths from 250mm to 5.0m. Additionally, the VLX3 includes fast warm-up and a choice of local or remote operator interfacing.

VLL LED Bar Lights

The Gardasoft VLL Series LED Bar Lights offer high intensity IR and visible LED illumination for Area Scan applications. With a typical light intensity of 35K Lux at a working distance of 500mm, and light lengths from 288mm to 1126mm, the VLL lights offer both high performance and flexibility within Machine Vision systems. The products feature a single row of LEDs operating in free running mode, and the housings are finished in black, IP67 rated and designed for optimised thermal performance for the coolest running.

VTR6 ANPR LED Strobes

The Gardasoft VTR6 Traffic Monitoring LED Strobe is an illuminator which provides IR and White light for Intelligent Traffic System applications at up to six times the intensity of conventional LED light sources. Building on the success of Gardasoft’s industry leading VTR2 and VTR4, the VTR6 utilises the latest high power LED technology available - delivering up to 4.5kW pulses to the LED array and therefore opening new applications with increased illumination distances. It is fully integrated with internal timing, intensity control, trigger input and long distance communications, including Ethernet and RS232 – making the VTR6 particularly suitable for applications such as ANPR, Red Light Violation, Open Road Tolling and Weight-in Motion Systems.
