Since it was founded by Peter Bhagat in 1999, Gardasoft has achieved an incredible rise and become world leader in machine vision lighting control. Initially, the focus was on integrating machine vision systems because, back then, controlling machine vision lighting was complex and challenging. Gardasoft provided the solution.
Gardasoft designed its own lighting controller, the user-friendly PP600, to be compatible with most LED lighting. Then, in 2000, an Irish company got in touch, because it wanted to buy one. This was a light-bulb moment for us, because it proved that there was demand from the wider machine vision industry for robust and reliable lighting controllers.

The PP600 lighting controller was revolutionary and the power and versatility it offered made it an industry standard for lighting control. Gardasoft continued to innovate, developing the RT, RC and HT series and providing customers around the world with outstanding lighting control solutions.
Gardasoft integrated Ethernet connectivity into its controllers two years before the introduction of the GigE Vision standard and pioneered GigE Vision for non-imaging devices.
Gardasoft worked with lighting software companies to bring the triniti™ intelligent lighting technology to market in 2014. Crucially, triniti provided a single GUI to control and interface with lighting, camera and imaging software. Since then, Gardasoft extended its focus to liquid lens control and embedded control.
In 2019, Gardasoft unveiled its award-winning OLED panel controller which was designed specifically for the new CCS OLED lights. Gardasoft continues to innovate and lead the way forward for the global lighting control technology industry.
